He uses Cinema 4D, Photoshop and After Effects to create these animated illustrations that are “influenced by nature, architecture, mundane environments and the news,” he says.

In Miami, we are known for many things, including: great weather, a cosmopolitan community, beautiful people, Sun-tans and bikinis. Let’s explore the bikini fashion lifestyle that makes Miami such a fun place to be year round.

Every July, we look forward to Miami Swim Week and the unveil of the latest swimwear,  swim runways and fashion events. This year we caught just the latter part of swim week, due to travels in preparation for our 2016 collection.

It was great connecting with old and new friends and especially seeing one of our favourite Island Bridal models Maria Soler DuBreuil gorgeously strutting the runways.  We’ve tracked our favourite designers and we are delighted to share all of these goodness with you.  Below is a recap of Miami Swim week and the designs that we adore:

MIAMI SWIM WEEK 2016 - Bikini Models

With delicate braids laced into long-locks and top-knot buns that had been soaking up the sun pool-side just hours before the show, the girls who graced the runway wearing Frankie’s Bikinis oozed of that Southern California mystique that is as equally sexy as it is effortless. With toned booties and gold dusted cheeks the girls strutted their stuff in new prints like the vintage inspired pink and white floral combination but kept it “Frankie” with a host of new solid color swatches to compliment every skin tone. It was all in the details with the crochet detailing & tribal prints, bringing a pop of adventure and sense of wanderlust to the runway translating to bikini culture itself. The vibrant color swatches looked flawless on al of the models, bringing out the best in their bodies. The cuts that Frankie’s offers are able to showcase well our individual assets, whether that means we’re bigger up top or got a little more party in the back. The tops cut either low enough or right down the center to bring out our best; and the bottoms do the same  from coverage that can be minimal to a little more reserved to more daring v-cuts (that are making SUCH a comeback) to that straight across the hip-line that evens out our stomach and thighs. Another exciting surprise was the addition of apparel to Frankie’s new collection. The “Eight Days A Week” apparel line featured flirty rompers, fun maxi-dresses and the irresistible oversized kimonos. It was nice to see the crochet-like detail adorning many of the suits but it knew when and where it should make its appearance. The main thing here was that the models had fun up there, from high-fiving each other to bogeying a bit onstage, it was refreshing to see this side of fashion where the models had freedom to simply be themselves. #bikinis #fashion #models #miami

The Best Wedding Photo Ever

" Katie Young and James Lowder Wedding "

Newly weds Katie Young and James Lowder have shared what is already called the best wedding photo ever, where the whole party is captured running for their lives from an enormous Tyrannosaurus rex.

The picture was taken and tweaked in Photoshop by a Louisiana-based wedding photographer Quinn Miller, and the idea to include a dinosaur came from James’ love for them. While clearly not every bride would agree into something like that, it would be even harder to find one that acts as well as Katie does. All the friends of the couple turned out to be very enthusiastic as well, and when you zoom the picture in, their priceless expressions prove how much they loved the idea.

Quinn says everything went so smoothly that the shoot took only about 2 minutes. “Run right at the camera, away from the T-Rex, as passionately as you can. I need to see fear and actual running, not lame faces and power walking,” were his only instructions to the party, and they were enough to capture the perfect shot with a single take. Now that’s a pic you wanna put on your work desk!

Comet PANSTARRS Meets the Andromeda Galaxy

In this comet encounter of the extragalactic kind, Comet PANSTARRS and the Andromeda Galaxy met each other in the skies above Earth. This great image by Brendan Alexander in Ireland shows the spectacular view. He said it was “a difficult image to capture due to low cloud, the low altitude of the target and tracking issue. I hope to get the chance to improve on this!”

Uluru is one of Australia's most recognisable natural landmarks. The sandstone formation stands 348 m (1,142 ft) high (rising 863 m/2,831 ft above sea level), with most of its bulk lying underground, and has a total circumference of 9.4 km (5.8 mi).[4] Both Uluru and the nearby Kata Tjuta formation have great cultural significance for the Aṉangu people, the traditional inhabitants of the area, who lead walking tours to inform visitors about the local flora and fauna, bush foods and the Aboriginal dreamtime stories of the area.

Uluru is notable for appearing to change colour at different times of the day and year, most notably glowing red at dawn and sunset.

Kata Tjuta, also called Mount Olga or The Olgas, lies 25 km (16 mi) west of Uluru. Special viewing areas with road access and parking have been constructed to give tourists the best views of both sites at dawn and dusk.

Uluru-Kata Tjuta National Park is the spiritual heart of Australia’s Red Centre. Located in the Northern Territory, Uluru is about 440 kilometres away from Alice Springs.

Lots of people choose to explore Australia’s outback at their own pace by driving the Northern Territory’s famous Red Centre Way. This gives you a chance to explore Uluru, Kings Canyon, the West MacDonnell Ranges and Alice Springs.
